A place where real life meets real talk — from a mama doing her best to raise her daughter, Sofiamoana, while juggling farm chores, living on pure faith, and sharing the occasional meltdown that ends in laughter (and sometimes requires a glass of wine, or coffee… or both).
Here, you can book a coaching session if your soul needs a reset, shop a few farm-fresh goodies straight from our little homestead, or just read something that makes you laugh, think, or feel a little less, alone.
You’ll find stories that are real, raw, and mostly unedited — sometimes inspiring, sometimes sarcastic (PG-rated, promise), always honest. Because life doesn’t need to be perfect to be beautiful.

About Us
Mama&Moana is a place where the chickens are chatty, the coffee’s strong, cuddling happens daily, and laughter is the most healing kind of therapy.

Mama & Moana was born somewhere between the chicken coop and late-nights spent talking to God asking lots of questions about life — the kind of questions that come to mind when you’re trying to make sense of life's unexpected twists and turns... ya know, things like divorce, sudden surprise supernatural encounters with Jesus, unexpectedly moving to a different country, dating in your 40's, motherhood, faith, miracles, and unanswered prayers.
Farm life is simple, and not so simple. But, it's real and I, well, we, are 100% here for it all.
Mama & Moana is a place where I (Hollis) share what it looks like to raise my daughter, Sofiamoana, while navigating single motherhood, working for our family farm and winery, living high on faith, witnessing miracles and healing everyday, navigating uncomfortable emotions, sitting with heartbreak, finding joy and pleasure in walking the vineyard on a sunny day, meeting people I adore, falling in love, and falling out of love, having deep conversations about life with strangers, and everything in between — all narrated in my head, and hopefully eventually in my blog with a good sense of humor, a little sarcasm, and a lot of grace.

My goal? To create a place where you feel seen. Where you can exhale. Where inspiration and imperfection live side by side — just like they do in real life.Because around here, we believe that healing can happen with a heartfelt hug, that laughter is holy, and sometimes the most sacred and meaningful moments are the ones that are messy and perfectly imperfect!
